At Kartre, we’ve always believed great builds should do more – and that starts with how we power our own operations. It’s thus extremely exciting to share that our office and home base are now running on an 18kW battery and solar panel system! 

 

While most homes use a 5kW or 10kW setup, our 17.52 kWh usable storage is designed to bridge the gap through the night and cloudy days. Controlled by a smart ‘5-in-1’ Energy Controller, the system manages our solar generation, battery storage, and EV charging in one seamless stack. This allows us to charge our new Volkswagen ID.

 

This improvement means we can now generate our own energy, store it smartly and keep our EV vehicle charged, powering thousands of miles of site visits with zero carbon emissions. 

 

We believe the future of construction is all-electric. By testing and proving these systems ourselves, we can continue to provide our clients with the best advice and the most efficient homes possible.
