20 Aug New Milestone at Stanley House: Underfloor Heating and Screed Are In!
Kartre is so pleased to share a major update from the Stanley House project! The ground floor has just received its underfloor heating system and screed, marking a significant step towards creating a truly modern and energy-efficient home.
The goal for this project isn’t just comfort, but also building a sustainable home. The high-level of floor insulation works seamlessly with the underfloor heating and a new air source heat pump to create a highly efficient heating solution. This is ideal for all forward-thinking homeowners.
Lower energy bills and improved comfort
Air source heat pumps are most efficient when they produce water at a lower temperature, and underfloor heating systems are specifically designed to use this gentle warmth. This clever combination offers a number of key benefits:
Lower energy bills: The system uses less electricity to heat the house, saving money and resources.
Reduced carbon footprint: We’re significantly cutting down on our reliance on fossil fuels.
Superior comfort: The entire floor acts as a gentle, even heat source, eliminating cold spots and ensuring the house is “toasty and warm” all year round.
We’re excited to see the project progress, and we’ll be sharing more updates with you soon on this website. Please email dafydd@kartre.com for any more information or to discuss a new project.
