About This Project

Stylish Chester Pizza Restaurant

Kartre were appointed to project manage the clearance of a previous Wine Shop and create a new stylish Chester Pizza Restaurant.

Work commenced on site in August 2014, and Kartre worked alongside the interior designers to produce the transformation. The style was based on raw industrial materials complimented by bold and luxurious seating. Lighting was a key ingredient to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

A traditional pizza oven was installed, creating the focal point to the restaurant. It was a challenging site to work with due to the building being a grade 2 listed property which comes with strict regulations. However, working with the local authority the hurdles were overcome and work was completed in November 2014.

Urbano is now a thriving Chester Pizza Restaurant, and has attracted numerous celebrity diners through it’s doors!
